REHAB has transformed its facility based training program into a cutting edge, multi-faceted work program that is used as a model throughout New York State. REHAB's employment programs serve over 600 adults with mild to moderate disabilities.
WORK TRAINING CENTER / WORK READINESS CENTER
An array of services offered include a modernized Work Training Center which, in addition to job skills training, includes vocational evaluation, life skills, recreation, computer and literacy training.
This work training program now comprises an on-site business in it's entirety. The consumers complete total assembly and packaging of the "Speedy Stitcher" hand sewing awl for the Stewart Manufacturing Corp.
REHAB's Work Readiness Center provides a higher level of skill training and work habit development as the next step to community based employment.
INTEGRATED EMPLOYMENT SERVICES (IES)
REHAB's IES is one of the largest Supported Employment programs in the state providing nearly 400 adults with employment options. Support services include individualized job development, intensive job coaching and long term follow along. As of 2004 a partial list of participating employers includes:

SCHOOL TO WORK
REHAB's School to Work program is a component of Integrated Employment Services created to facilitate a seamless transition from school to adult life. This program offers students in special education the opportunity to gain community based work experience while still attending school. Students receive Job Coach assistance to assess their strengths, interests and needs for support. Early job sampling provides each student with a portfolio of community based work experiences to aid in career development upon graduation.
Career Exploration: designed for younger students new to vocational studies.
Work Study: designed for older students preparing to leave school.
